Ferrania Solaris FG Plus is a color negative film that was produced in Italy and became widely popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Known for its warm tones, rich contrast, and vibrant reds, it was a common choice for casual photographers across Europe. Sold in supermarkets and camera shops, it was used to capture everything from family holidays to street photography. Its distinct character gave everyday scenes a soft, nostalgic glow that still resonates with photographers today.
Ferrania Solaris unfortunately ceased production in the early 2010s. After Ferrania shut down its film production line around 2009 to 2010, the Solaris brand gradually disappeared from shelves.
